Meet the most famous Islands when you travel to Iran

Iran's travel introduce three of most famous and most beautiful Islands of Iran.

Visiting these Islands makes your trip more especial.

1.   Kish Island

Welcome to Iran's Sunshine Coast, Kish Island.

This attractive Island that, since the 1970s, has become a beach resort where visitors can swim, shop and sample a laid-back and relatively liberated local lifestyle. Iran's most hedonistic spot, Kish is booming. Hotels, apartment blocks and retail complexes (it enjoys free-trade-zone status) dominate the once-empty desert landscape and domestic tourist numbers are on the rise, especially in winter, when it's freezing cold on the mainland.

Kish is largely ignored by foreign tourists, though. That's a shame, because a visit here is a great way to experience Iran from an altogether different perspective. Leave the sight-laden cities of the mainland and come here to enjoy sea, sand and sun in a relaxed atmosphere.

2.   Qeshm Island

The largest Island in the Persian Gulf, Qeshm is fringed with biologically diverse mangrove forests, attractive beaches and 60 Bandari villages.

Its sun-scorched interior features geologically significant canyons, hills, caves and valleys, most of which are protected as part of the Unesco-recognised Qeshm Island Geopark – bliss for nature-lovers.

3.   Hormoz Island

This little charmer of an Island packs a big punch. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in beauty and atmosphere. There’s only one road and virtually no cars, just motorbikes and tuk-tuks; there are no showy resorts, just a smattering of simple homestays.

Most of its visitors are day trippers from Bandar Abbas or Qeshm, so even the only settlement, Hormoz, is a sleepy little village that kicks off its shoes each evening and relaxes into mellow contemplation of the setting sun. The rest of the 42-sq-km Island is virtually uninhabited.

The rugged interior is a scenic geological wonderland of different-coloured volcanic rocks and soils, while the coastline is a stunning mix of golden beaches and awesome bluffs.

So in the cold season you can travel to the Islands of Iran and in addition to enjoying the scenery, enjoy a few days of your life in silence.
