Explore Iran your way with a tailor-made itinerary designed around your interests, travel style, and pace.
They have very competitive prices, and Azimeh listens to everything you want to do and tailor-make the tour to suit your exact needs. Azimeh was excellent at making all the arrangements flight tickets, Meybod, Chakchak, Kharanad, Zein-o-Din Caravanserai overnight, nomads and the kaluts in Kerman. Everything went smoothly.
We also particularly recommend our driver-guide Medih who was wonderful, very kind, helpful and attentive.
With no doubt we'd travel with them again.
We are two older women travellers who plan to travel to Iran for 30 days. We wanted a combination of a personalized tour in North West Iran and personal transport between cities in other parts of Iran. We asked for a driver to take us to a number of places we wish to see off the main tourist routes and distant from each other in North West Iran. We also wanted to spend a few days in each of Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz with a driver between these cities, including sightseeing en route but not during our time in the cities.
We contacted many, many tour agencies for quotes. We finally decided on Irans Travel because Azimeh was consistently helpful, thorough, prompt and accommodating. Most importantly, she listened to what we said we wanted, and she researched carefully to answer our many questions. She offered us advice, asked questions but at no time did she impose her will on our tour.
Over the last three weeks we have been in daily contact with Azimeh, refining our tour, getting her opinion on what will work best for us. Her patience has been amazing. We have felt cared for by her as she has worked to reduce any stress we have had about traveling to her country. Her quote was competitive with all of the other quotes we received.
We are deeply grateful to Azimeh for all her help. We look forward to meeting her in person and once our tour is completed we will write a review telling of our experience.
We recently spent 2+ weeks sightseeing across Iran with a guide from Iran's Travel. We went to western (Lorestan), southern (Hormuz, Qeshm) and central parts (Shiraz, Persepolis, Necropolis, Yazd, and Esfahan).
Before going, we spent a lot of time researching and decided to go with Iran's Travel - they are a small/medium sized company. And they were a very good choice! Azimeh was very responsive to the emails. She answered all my questions in a timely manner.
Our guide, Mehran was fantastic, his English was great and he was very eager to share his knowledge of the country, culture, and history. From roadside picnics to meals at families homes, we could not have had a more authentic experience.
During the tour, because of weather, we asked the tour company to make a couple of adjustments to our itinerary and Azimeh and Mehdi (the owners) were very responsive and quickly made all the necessary adjustments. This was one of the most enlightening trips we have ever taken and loved every minute of it - which would not have been possible if not for Mehran (the tour guide) and Iran's Travel efforts in making sure the trip went smoothly for us.
I encourage everyone to explore Iran using Iran's Travel (be sure to ask for Mehran, there is a reason he is listed in travel guides like Lonely Planet - he is that good!).
I had just 1 day visiting Yazd and I am happy that I had Hedayat as a guide. Despite the limited time he suggested to go to Saryazd castle which is about 30 min away and it became the most memorable experience during the whole trip to Iran. We arrived when the place was already closed but Hedayat called the guardian and he opened it just for us. It's a magnificent ancient citadel and the feeling when you are there alone and free to explore every corner of it is simply indescribable. At the end we had a scenic of the mountains from the castle tower and amazing sunset. Simply breathtaking.
Before to start for our travel in Iran we asked a many agency a quotation, honestly the Irantravel had the best price and for all the time they has supported and suggested us for the best tour. All the time Azimeh helped us by Whastapp/email , for everything, visa, hotel and tips because we have done just 5 days with her company, Esfahan/Kur/Desert Lake/Mesr/Garmhe/Kharanaq/Meybod/Yazd/Persepoli/Shiraz. Absolutely the best things in our travel has been our driver and guide,Mehdi, funny and frindly man. We has been really lucky to find him! Kind all the time, he drives for a lot hours and he explain everything,he never rusched us, a lot of times he stopped to buy water/fruits/ice cream or for make a tea. I really suggest to use this company!!We will came back to make another part but with the same company!
Hedayat took me on an amazing bicycle ride around the old city of Yazd, through alleyways to find secret courtyards and great places to eat. A highlight of my trip to Iran!
Hedayat was my guide to show me yazd and provide homemade food.
He's architect and has a lot of knowledge about his city and the building.
Nice guy with always an smile.
Hedyat has been guiding me for 2 days in Yazd and around the city, he's from here so he knows everything like his own pocket. We went to Zurkhne, excellent restaurants, the castle of Sar-e Yazd, Meybod, Chak-Chak, Zoroastrian museum, the surrounding mountains, the desert.. just to name a few. He gave me a lot of insights regarding Persian culture as we went along those places, which was very interesting. He's an excellent driver, very easy-going and relaxed, and he speaks a very good English. Be sure you meet this friendly fellow on your way to Yazd, he will make your stay a lot more lively and compelling.
Yazd is extraordinarily amazing. Pearl of the desert. With all the back alleys in the old town, ancient water distributing infrastructure and most importantly zaratustrian temples this is a place to see. Especially with a fine and trusted guide.
I was so lucky to have Hedayat as a guide and driver around Yazd! He is very knowledgeable, passionate about his culture and history, also very polite and funny. Thanks a lot for this great experience!
Hedayat is a great guy. Although I did not bike through Iran like most of his guests, he still offered to guide me around his beautiful city and the surrounding areas. My favourite moment was when he showed me the mud city of Kharanaq, we arrived early so we could beat the main tourist wave and he knew so much about its history. Hedayat is really active guy and if you're looking for an adventure in or around Yazd, you will not regret meeting him. Until next time!
Hedayat guided and drove me in and around Yazd. He is very fluent in English and knowledgeable about the history, culture and architecture of Yazd. He took me to visit the Zoroastrian fire temple as well as the towers of Silence on the outskirts of Yazd and explained the position of Zoroastrian people's in the modern Islamic Republic. We had very interesting conversations about philosophy and knowing that I was working with textiles and fashion he introduced me to a friend of his who is an Iranian fashion designer. On my last day he brought me to the bus station and was very patient and helpful when I had difficulty finding a bus because of a national holiday. Hedayat is a good, safe and experienced driver, honest, reliable, kind and flexible. Depending on your interests he can tailor a tour to your budget and time considerations including desert excursions and cultural activities. Highly recommended.
Hedayat is super nice. He will help you with everything you need. We came without any plan and together we developed a plan for the next days. We went around the old city by bike, ate local foods, made a bbq, went to the desert and even did a overnight mountaineering tour to the highest peak of the region.
All in all it must be said that Hedayat is a perfect tour-guide who will become your friend for sure.
Thank you so much for making our Yazd experience unforgettable!
See you soon, Mate!
Cheers, Jake & Chris
I had wanted to visit Iran for 25 years and was absolutely delighted when a friend invited me to join her in her proposed travel. We corresponded with a lot of tour operators before we finally decided on Irans Travel for our 31 day journey around Iran. We chose Irans Travel because Azimeh was so conscientious in responding promptly to our needs and desires and in answering our questions, some about places off the usual tourist routes that I or we wanted to visit, others more generally about Iran and its customs. She also made sensible alternative suggestions if our proposed plans really seemed not feasible. We were very happy and excited with the final itinerary, which included all the places off the beaten track on our list.
Azimeh clearly put a lot of thought into the best possible arrangements for us. Our first 8 days were spent travelling around East and West Azarbayejan, Kordestan and on to Kashan. Rather than rely on hearsay about local guides in Azarbayejan, Azimeh sent our driver guide Ali Jadidian, whom she knew from Yazd, her home city. Seeing how much we valued his expertise and kindness, she was thoughtful enough to send him again for transfers between other cities, and responded positively to our suggestions of employing him and his wife for local tours. She was also very careful in selecting accommodation that suited our needs. She checked frequently to make sure that everything was going well for us.
We met Azimeh in Yazd and found her to be exactly as she came across in her correspondence warm, considerate and generous.
Azimeh was my gateway to Iran, giving a marvellous first impression of the country even before I arrived. She is a wonderful ambassador for her country. My journey exceeded all expectations and Id love to visit Iran again. I hope I wont have to wait another 25 years, but when I do go, Ill definitely book through Azimeh and Irans Travel. I cant recommend her highly enough.
Hedayat and Mehdi are two amazing knowledgeable people in yazd. I met hedayat in yazd and he recommended me to do a day tour with Mehdi to see sayazd castle, chak chak, meybod, kharanaq and silence of tower. It was a really sight to wonder and i especially enjoyed going to sayazd castle and kharanaq. The view is just amazing with the mountains as the background. Mehdi was very knowledgeable and was a great guide in explaining every single details about the places we went. As i was a curious person by nature, i asked him a lot of questions based on what i saw in yazd and he answered every single one patiently. He even brought his own tea kettle and we had our mini tea break at kharanaq, iranian style way. I would recommend them both should you want an great time in yazd! :)
