After a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours, you will arrive at Pasargadae. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire and is home to the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Empire. Explore the complex and admire the ancient ruins.

Continue your journey towards Persepolis, which is located approximately 60 kilometers northeast of Pasargadae.

Arrive at the magnificent ruins of Persepolis, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire showcases stunning Persian architecture and intricate stone carvings. Spend a couple of hours exploring the various palaces, staircases, and ceremonial halls.

Next, head to Naghshe Rostam, situated just a short distance from Persepolis. Naghshe Rostam is an ancient necropolis featuring rock-cut tombs and impressive reliefs. The site is known for its royal tombs, including those of Darius the Great and his successors.

Leave Naghshe Rostam and begin your journey toward Shiraz, which is approximately 60 kilometers south. The drive will take around 1 hour.
